Method 1 Deleting a Contact
- Tap the Contacts or People app. The name of the app will vary depending on what Android device you are using.
- Tap the contact you want to delete. This will open the contact’s details.
- Tap Delete.
- Tap Yes to confirm that you want to delete the selected contacts.
To remove a contact or email address from your Gmail address book:

@vikingdriver58 There is an option to delete all contacts, but its a bit more difficult to perform. You need to go to settings – apps, tap on 3 dots and show system. There, look for contacts storage. Open the app, tap on storage and clear data.
