The Romantic Movie Date.

Whether or not you've got a special someone, it's always nice to wrap yourself in a blanket, indulge in a tub of ice cream and put on a movie. Here are 10 of my favourite romance films. 1. Lost in Translation Directed by: Sofia Coppola Starring: Bill Murray, Scarlett Johansson, Giovanni Ribisi, Anna Faris Charlotte: I just don't know what I'm supposed to be. Bob: You'll figure that out. The more you know who you are, and what you want, the less you let things upset you. 2. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Directed by: Michael Gondry Starring: Jim Carrey, Kate Winslet, Kirsten Dunst, Mark Ruffalo, Elijah Wood Clementine: This is it, Joel. It's going to be gone soon. Joel: I know. Clementine: What do we do? Joel: Enjoy it. 3. Submarine Directed by: Richard Ayoade Starring: Craig Roberts, Yasmin Paige, Paddy Considine, Sally Hawkins, Noah Taylor Oliver Tate: Her new boyfriend has an incredibly long neck. Just thinking about giraffes makes me angry. 4. Stuck in Love Directed by: Josh Boone Starring: Lily Collins, Logan Lerman, Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Connelly, Nat Wolff Samantha: Hey Lou. Lou: Uh huh. Samantha: You make me feel less cynical. 5. The Graduate Directed by: Mike Nichols Starring: Dustin Hoffman, Anne Bancroft, Katharine Ross Benjamin: Mrs. Robinson, I can't do this anymore. Mrs. Robinson: You what? Benjamin: This is all terribly wrong. Mrs. Robinson: Do you find me undesirable?  Benjamin: Oh no, Mrs. Robinson. I think, I think you're the most attractive of all my parents' friends. I mean that. 6. High Fidelity Directed by: Stephen Frears Starring: John Cusack, Jack Black, Iben Hjejle Rob: Marvin Gaye. Laura: I know. Rob: Let's get it on. That's our song. Marvin Gaye is responsible for our entire relationship. Laura: Oh, is that so? I'd like a word with him then. 7. The Science of Sleep Directed by: Michel Gondry Starring: Gael Garcia Bernal, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Miou-Miou Stephane: Will you marry me when you are seventy? You'd have nothing to lose. 8. Amélie Directed by: Jean-Pierre Jeunet Starring: Audrey Tautou, Mathieu Kassovitz Amélie Poulain: At least you'll never be a vegetable-- even artichokes have hearts. 9. Edward Scissorhands Directed by: Tim Burton Starring: Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder Kim: Hold me. Edward: I can't. 10. The Notebook Directed by: Nick Cassavetes Starring: Rachel McAdams, Ryan Gosling, James Marsden Allie: Now, say you're a bird. Noah: If you're a bird, I'm a bird.   Love, Gene
